About This Event:
Proper 28 from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer gives us this charge concerning Holy Scripture. Canterbury and the Emmaus School of Biblical Studies (www.esbsonline.org) are teaming up to bring you a weekend of: Inductive Bible Study…
We should pray so that the verbs: Hear, Read, Mark, Learn and Digest take meaning in our lives. We should hear with both physical and spiritual ears and read with both physical and spiritual eyes. Learn and make a mark (your mark) with the word of our Lord. We must digest His words in our spirit and live them on earth just as He did.
Why You Should Attend This Event!
This event will help you understand the process of prayer and living in a manner in which His spirit moves us to be like Him, to act like Him and to be the living word within us in order to disciple in this world.
