General Banquet Information
All
banquets will last no longer than four
hours or midnight, whichever comes
first.
All
buildings are non-smoking buildings.
Smoking containers are available outside
on the back dining deck.
Deposit of $500.00 is due with the
signed contract and is needed to
guarantee the reservation.
Canterbury reserves the right to
terminate any reception, banquet, or
party in the event guests’ behavior
becomes inappropriate.
The
wedding party is financially responsible
for any damage to Canterbury property
beyond normal usage.
Canterbury will not assume any
responsibility for the damage or loss of
any merchandise or articles left at the
retreat center before, during, or after
your banquet.
Bubbles and birdseed are allowed,
outside only. Please no rice; it can
harm the animals.

Items that need to be provided by the
customer
Set-up / Decoration Information
Wedding party will provide a decorator
to decorate the guest tables. (i.e.
centerpieces, party favors).
No
glitter, confetti, or silly string
permitted.
Decorating time will be two hours prior
to contracted start time or assessed on
an individual basis which ever is
earlier.
Canterbury will be responsible to
decorate cake table, buffet table,
alcove areas and provide 6 silk fichus
trees with white lights.
A
white light and toile ceiling piece is
available to rent for $25.00. This piece
goes over the dance floor.
Additional services available:
Canterbury Staff decorating tables
$10.00 per table with decorations
provided by party.
Table
Decorations $20.00 per table includes:

Centerpiece Bowl, 12”x12” mirror,
floating candle (color of wedding or
white, which ever is available),

pieces, etc.) must leave the evening of
the event.
